Honestly there is no magic or right way for raising our kids, we sometimes guessed, googled, asked and fumbled at this thing called parenting but we survived! My words of wisdom is to just trust in your ability to make the best decisions that suits your own family.
I have been counting down each of our little milestones for the boys. For me the biggest one was the day that I didn’t need to burp them any more. I slept the the hospital to make sure he was not lonely, that he got fed, gave him his medicine and changed often. The nurse checked his temperature and oxygen every hour, which means both of us never had a really good sleep.
I’ve been living with my BP for ten years and I only really felt the extreme dangers of it while I was pregnant with my twins. They put me in the extreme high risk pregnancy. I have never been so scared and stressed. But the possibility of loosing my boys was overwhelming. Even the professor that is a specialist high risk pregnancy referred to his handbook at times to see how far we can push and increase my medication.
